LAKE ANN HARDWOODS - OUR HISTORY

Although the sawmill has been around since the 40s, the mill became known as Hall Family Saw Mill when Richard Hall purchased it in 1979.

Working side by side with Richard Hall were his step sons, Jim Gabrick, Mike Brigham, and Mark Gabrick, whom as young men, learned the business of running a sawmill. Today, Lake Ann Hardwood is owned and operated by Mike Brigham and Mark Gabrick. Together as partners, Mike and Mark have broadened the business with equipment additions, facility expansions, and product enhancements. Lake Ann Hardwoods is truly family owned and operated with its roots planted in the Northwest Michigan area.

Lake Ann Hardwoods is an active community member and proudly sponsors many organizations, parks, and schools. The recipient of many awards, Lake Ann Hardwoods, Inc. is proud to be a part of the Northern Michigan Community and will continue to support the area.

Lake Ann Hardwoods is recognized as a Northern Michigan industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution on hardwood products. With over 1 million board feet produced each year, Lake Ann Hardwoods serves both local and out state customers with rough sawn quality hardwood products and is a major producer of lumber utilized in the following industries: furniture, construction, and shipping. In addition Lake Ann Hardwoods is one of the areas largest producers of mulch, sawdust, slabwood, and firewood.
